Building Your PLN

As another school year gets started, I reflect on the value of my Personal Learning Network (PLN). Just in the past couple of months, I have learned about Bloxels and Breakout EDU from my PLN. Both of these are learning tools I want to explore further this fall. It gets me excited all over again about the value we can bring to kids and how the benefits will serve kids well for their future.

This past week Keith O'Neal @iTeachLipscomb came out with a 50 states in 50 days challenge for educators to build their PLN. I've really enjoyed getting to know Keith as a colleague @Lipscomb and I think this challenge is brilliant. I really wish I had thought of it!

If you are looking for a way to build your PLN using Twitter, I encourage you to take a look at this challenge and join in! Not only will you get the benefit of the thinking and sharing of educators from across the country, but you will also find yourself with a renewed following to encourage you to share your own expertise.

Happy twittering!! Or is it tweeting??
